Destination Ailleurs ...
I am a photographer based in Toronto (Canada) and Lyon (France). My interest in photography began in 2016 when I participated in a three-week workshop (U.K) that taught me the building blocks of photography. My curiosity was sparked, and I decided to embark, a year later, on two photography workshops with Mike Browne in Cambodia and Iceland. I have always liked exploring, whether it is a country across the globe or part of the city I never visited before. As a photographer, I try to bring meaning to details that are singular, unexpected or out of the ordinary. For me, doing photography is a way to return to a sharper, yet more nuanced, awareness of the world. It is also a way to remain anchored to the present and the world while, at the same time, let my mind wander. In the past 10 years, I have also developed a strong interest in sculpting with clay, which is why I added some of my works here.
Outside of my artistic interests, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, pursuing a Molecular Genetics Specialist and a History and Philosophy of Science Major. My career goal is to participate in academic research on rare pediatric neuromuscular diseases.

A mes rêves d'enfants
Sur des îles lointaines
Où rien n'est important
Que de vivre...” (C.Aznavour)
